Full on avalanche conditions

This is a 'small' drift in a parking lot, it is nearly two metres deep. Imagine this on a mountain slope two or three times as deep and extending across gully exits and building cornices. It is easy to see the avalanche hazard is High. Thanks to Aberdeenshire Council for the marker stakes on the road. Watch out for deep drifts and stay down the middle.
