Walking from Glen Callater up towards Corrie Kander on Cairn Tuirc there were a few comments regarding the sanity of taking skis for a walk. Not surprising really.

Corrie Kander was holding less snow than expected despite the North East aspect. None of the gullies there are anywhere near complete now. The snow is mainly round the rim of the corrie.

Some snow does remain in Allt a' Bhealaich Bhuidhe. It gives 300 metres of easy skiing on snow with about 20 metres on good slippy grass halfway down. The grass is good for straight running but not so good for turning on!

Almost at the bottom below. Patches visible on Beinn a Bhuird in the far distance.

Good luck to anyone else mad enough to go.
