It was a relief to see the lower temperatures today and signs that the rapid thaw of recent days is slowing down. Walked up from Glas-alt-Shiel lodge on Loch Muick to Creag a' Ghlas-uillt on the White Mounth. It would have been possible to ski from above the waterfall less than a kilometre from Glas-allt-Shiel. For those prepared to walk a bit conditions high up are still very good.
