The 'fat' ice may not show too well in this photo but it shows well with binoculars. 
Many thanks to Braemar Mountain Sports for the immediate 'roadside' assistance with my broken Dynafit toe piece. They were 15 years old so did really well and overnight a new pair grew on the skis. Thanks heaps.
