Coire Loch Kander & snow distribution

That's about all we could see looking into Coire Loch Kander Here's an interesting photo showing variability in snow distribution. The higher slope is more loaded on the north aspect, while the near road side slope is holding more snow on the south aspect. In a sense it is also an example of crossloading and how we can get 'surprised' when at higher elevations all aspects are snow covered, disguising the variability in cover and possible associated weaknesses in the snowpack.
